Summary: A very odd set of refugees come to Jericho, bringing with them an unbelievable secret. Jake Green, Mimi Clark, and Bill Koehler get to deal with tree thieves, mad farmhands, looming starvation, and and the occasional pagan deity passing through. It's just one damn thing on top of another after The End of the World. [crossover with SUPERNATURAL]

I haven't had the chance to read the story yet (but yummy, 61k words) but

And yes, RSjr's roles really do make it tempting to smush the two series together, even though Hard SF and Religious Horror aren't exactly an easy fit.

I would like to ask though, in the tags -- 'Bill Erickson' is supposed to be Deputy Bill, right?

Yes, he is. There seems to be some confusion going on about his last name in Show.

Well, it would help if they had ever had Bill's surname spoken aloud. I'm assuming that he's the 'Bill Koehler' whose name and address is on the bulletin board in Ep 6 of Season 2 since there are also Jake, Eric, Emily, Stanley and Jimmy up there.

Oh, yes, thank you. I debated using the '20,000-50,000 word' tag, but this thing really is longer. God help me if I ever write a sequel set in Season 2...

I added the word count tag, and changed the one for Bill to "character: deputy bill", so everyone can use whatever last name they feel most comfortable with for him ;-) Thanks for pointing that out.
